Daily Schedule
9:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. & 1:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. – Free Play/ Craft
At this time, the children have a choice of playing with puzzles, floor toys, creative art, daily living role play, etc. In the craft center, many choices are offered to the children such as picture drawing. We encourage everyone to participate. We want the children to have fun while learning as well as to use and develop their own unique creativity and imagination.
We also use this time for such things as small motor skills (cutting with scissors), eye hand coordination (coloring), learning how to print names, and crafting.
9:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. & 1:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. – Clean-up time/Small Circle/Bathroom
A time to say “hello”. We call small circle to check who our helpers are for the class, discuss themes and any other announcements (birthday, themes, weather etc.)
10:00 a.m. – 10:20 a.m. & 2:00 p.m. – 2:20 p.m. – Snack
During snacks we insist on quietness with soft talking and politeness (please & thank-you). ABSOLUTELY NO NUT SNACKS ALLOWED. Please do not send juice with your child, we prefer all children to have water as it helps to keep them more focused during circle time.

During circle time, we play games, sing songs, and do finger plays or flannel stories. We may go the playground or library, multi-purpose room or go for a walk.
